Consultations

A 15-minute free consultation with a therapist offers an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and get a sense of the therapist's approach, helping you determine if they’re a good fit for your needs. It’s a low-pressure way to explore therapy options before committing to a full session.

Individual

Individual therapy is a personal, one-on-one space with a licensed therapist. It is tailored to your needs, offering guidance, coping strategies, and a safe environment for self-reflection.

Couple

Couples therapy is a joint process where both partners work with a therapist to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship. It provides a neutral space to address issues, understand each other’s perspectives, and develop healthier interaction patterns.

Family

Family therapy involves working with a therapist to address dynamics and conflicts within related parties of 3 or more, helping members improve communication, understand each other better, and resolve issues together. It focuses on fostering healthier relationships and creating a supportive environment for all involved.

Child/Adolescent

Child/Adolescent therapy provides a safe, supportive space for your minor child to explore their feelings, behaviors, and experiences through age-appropriate methods like play, art, or talk. It aims to help them process emotions, build coping skills, and address specific challenges like anxiety, trauma, or behavioral issues.

Nathan accepts Aetna and Cigna for individuals

Nathan sees children ages 11+, adults, couples, and families

Meet Nathan

Nathan Jee is committed to supporting teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, difficult relationships, life-stage transitions, or addictions. He also helps couples navigate relational challenges, whether they are early in their relationship or have been together for many years. All relationships face conflict, and he seeks to guide couples to build skills to manage their conflict in a healthy manner.

Healing begins with being accepted and fully understood. Beginning therapy can be an intimidating process, and Nathan aims to create a welcoming and safe space by listening and reflecting what is shared with empathy and open-mindedness. By employing a person-centered approach, he enables clients to gain self-awareness and empowers them to find solutions. Regardless of what is brought to a counseling session, he values knowing the whole person – their story, interests, and feelings. He believes in the power of collaboration between counselor and client to create and achieve therapy goals.

Though counseling was not always a part of Nathan’s story, he prioritized building strong relationships with friends and family from a young age. As a native Texan growing up in Plano, Nathan was raised by parents who worked in the tech industry, so it felt natural for him to follow in their footsteps and study Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. From there, he began to work at General Motors and felt that the most fulfilling part of the job was the friendships formed with his coworkers. Around the same time, he sought therapy for himself and was able to make significant personal progress. Through this experience, he began to develop an interest in the transformative power of the counseling relationship. This led Nathan to change his career path into counseling and graduate from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Counseling.

Fun Facts

Nathan works out of Austin, TX, where he has lived for over 10 years. When he is not counseling, he spends time with his wife, Emily, his pet chickens, and his dog. To relax, he enjoys playing video games, board games, and disc golf.

Shayla accepts Aetna and Cigna for individuals

Shayla sees individuals ages 12+

Meet Shayla

Many of the people who come to work with Shayla feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted by overthinking, or stuck in a season that feels heavier than it should. Others are navigating depression, school or work stress, parenting challenges, relationship strain, or the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy and postpartum life. If any of this sounds familiar, Shayla’s clients often say they feel understood and relieved to find someone who truly listens. Shayla Pattillo, M.Ed., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults, teens, and parents. Her approach is warm, steady, and down-to-earth. Clients frequently describe feeling supported and able to breathe a little easier after sessions. Her first priority is getting to know each person—what they’re carrying, what matters to them, and what they hope will feel different. Shayla uses evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and she tailors everything to each client’s needs. She values practical tools as much as insight and enjoys helping clients identify small, meaningful changes they can begin using right away. For clients who desire it, Shayla can integrate faith into therapy in a way that feels natural and comfortable—whether through prayer, Scripture, or exploring how beliefs shape healing. Outside of counseling, Shayla prioritizes time with her family, staying active, and tending to her spiritual and emotional well-being so she can show up fully for the people she serves. Shayla is honored to walk alongside individuals who feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or ready for something to change. One of her favorite quotes from C.S. Lewis is, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” If you’re ready to take that next step, she would love to meet you.
